HyDEsigns: Dearborn, MI; My name is Heidi and I'm an aspiring to a career in graphic design/copywriting/public relations. I graduated from Hope College in 2008 with duel degrees in Communication and Business Management emphasizing in Marketing and Public Relations. After graduation I realized I wanted to get more into the creative aspects of promotion so I began pursuing my associates degree in Graphic Design with an emphasis in Web Design. In this program I was able to explore artistic yet technical ways to convey messages. I learned art techniques along with the programs of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Flash,Dreamweaver) through my drawing, typography, design, animation, theory and art history classes. I am a fast learner, proficient with many computer software programs and have interest and knowledge in many subjects. I enjoy working with teams but am also comfortable working independently on assignments-analyzing problems and coming up with creative efficient solutions in a timely manner. I am a highly organized, reliable and level-headed person with a positive attitude and an unending desire to learn.
